If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

I'm excited that we've finally offered this winner. He led Johnson-Brock to the Class D2 football and basketball championships this year. For his senior season he had 62 receptions for 1,165 yards and 23 TD's. In the championship game he had 7 receptions, 12 rushes for 336 yards from scrimmage and 3 TD's.

He has a nice size frame and if he indeed runs a 4.47 forty, he has the speed to be very successful at this level. (He's ran a 10.9 - 100 meter dash.) Bob Jensen with Huskerland Preps has had glowing reviews about Hahn and he sees about as much talent play in Nebraska each year as anyone.

Not hard to find talent like that. And the chances of him coming here are next to zero.

So you are saying he is better than Jordan Brown? You could let us dream for a minutes.

Finding talent is one thing. Getting them to commit to SDSU is much more difficult.

That was my thought too. I prolly could have found that guy.

Judging from the other offers, Harper must have a very good academic record. Several Ivy League offers. I don’t think he will show up in Brookings anytime soon.

I'm not saying you're wrong. He likely won't be a Jack. But it is kinda what folks said about Jerod DePriest, Devin Blakely, and Diamond Evans last year....

There is a reason the coaches make these offers. Things don't always work out for the student athlete in the recruiting process for a variety of reason. Injury, coaching changes, down season, etc. The Jacks rarely back out of offers if that position still has open slots and that offer, no matter how much of a longshot, can often pay dividends.

I think there will be a pipeline of native Nebraskans from UNL of kids who either walked on or other and see no path to playing.

Maybe the magic of Jimmy Rogers persuasion will kick in and Harper does show up! Who knows? This would be big.
