  • Soccer Recruits.

Jacks have had quite a few recruits on campus the last few weeks.

Noel Guevara is one of many talented players who the Jacks are looking at this fall. And is impressed with the school and campus, she might be making an official visit before december.

Sophomore Noel Guevara has not only impressed her soccer coaches at Corona del Sol High School, she has started to receive international attention. Guevara has been invited to attend Mexico’s Women’s Under 20 soccer camp.
If selected to the team, Guevara would compete in Veracruz, Mexico, next year. Guevara has been honing her soccer skills since the age of five. For the past six years she has been playing competitive soccer almost year round in Arizona. This past summer, Mexican National Head Coach Leonardo Cuellar selected Guevara to be part of the National Under 15 team.

        Re: Soccer Recruits.

Noel decided to stay home and play at Northern Arizona, which is a good choice for her, her family's support means a lot to her.

I know we have had commits from Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska I believe, and South Dakota. Lang is pleased with the class he has coming in and is already on the trail for next year.

Need to make a correction. The two names listed yesturday are 2009 commits.

                Todays commits include:
2 from Colorado, 1 from South Dakota, 1 from Kansas, and 1 from Illinois.
