The ladies will have to play hard on the 28th when they travel south to play the Crimsen Tide. Alabama is 9-4 so far this season, the same amount of wins they had last season. More importantly, they are 8-0 at home. Lets go and be the first team to defeat them in their house this year.

    Re: Alabama

It would be foolish to think this isn't going to be a tough one for the Jacks to win. No suprising Alabama. Traveling over the holiday break to play a much improved SEC team is going to prove to be one huge challenge. I think we will learn alot about this Jackrabbit team these next 2 games.

No let downs when your schedule is as tough as ours is. It isn't easy to be at your best week in and week out.

Yep. This will be a tough game for the lady Jacks. Hope they're keyed on this tonite, and not anticipating Marquette.

Alabama is playing well, playing at home, and haven't won vs Bunnies yet. Don't think the Tide isn't going to bring their best game!!!

This is a GREAT test, similar to the Baylor game. Don't think Tide is quite as talented as Baylor, but they're ready to pounce if Jacks are a bit off.

      Look forward to listening tonite!

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama women’s basketball team accomplished as much by Christmas as it did all last season.

Just 13 games into the 2006-07 season, the Crimson Tide has won nine games, as many as it did all last season in the first year under head coach Stephany Smith. Alabama, which has gone through four straight losing seasons, will try to take another step toward a winning campaign tonight when it hosts South Dakota State, which has beaten the Tide in each of the last two seasons. . . . Re: Alabama

Alabama has lost to both Missouri and Arkansas State, two teams that beat us. At 9-4 they have played a pretty easy so far. Being undefeated at home 8-0. We could come in and knock em off at their house. We are 2-0 in the series with Bama. I believe this is the last game of a 2-1 contract with them, but maybe we could get them to play us a few more times. Game starts in about an hour and hour minutes. I dunno if there are live stats. I'm looking but having no luck.

14 minutes to play 7-4 State, missed who made the 3 for us as there was a blank space in the broadcast. Vogel for 2 9-4 State.

12-11 Bama in the middle of a run, State still leading neither team shooting exceptionally well. 11:43 in the first half.

Bama ties it up at 12. And takes the lead off a layup 14-12. But Vogel responds for 3 15-14.

21-16 Alabama, Jacks not shooting well. Not as bad as Missouri but pretty similar. I hope someone can step up and hit some shots. They are bigger than us.
