    Re: Cancun Challenge

There’s something very satisfying about listening to the Jacks treat Notre Dame like they are IPFW. Lots of time left, but that first half was amazing.

Nice half. 34-21. Defense sounding (listening on radio) real solid. Winning rebounding battle 25-12.

If SDSU holds on to win AJ should take the mic and thank Notre Dame for coming and being a good program etc.

was busy at work and now we are only up 2? What happened sounds like our offense disappeared.

            Re: Cancun Challenge

I'm only listening to the radio broadcast, but doesn't it sound like the Jacks are not getting favorable fouls calls? They racked up a bunch in that 3rd quarter and Notre Dame is suddenly back in it.

              Re: Cancun Challenge

Foul trouble in the 3rd puts Peyton and Myah on the bench. With limited offensive options we lost the momentum.

                that would do it.

                Seems ND plays pretty physical.

Jacks also have 21 turnovers, are shooting 15% from deep and have 8 more fouls than ND, but it’s tied with 7 min left

                      Re: Cancun Challenge

sounds like we were struggling with passing through the zone defense. Burkhard and Selland back in the 4th seems to be getting some baskets again.

SDSU out-rebounding Notre Dame 45-20. Not sure I've ever seen such a domination on the boards!

If they are in a zone that can happen, sounds like our long shots we are missing a lot but taping a lot of balls back out and getting some O boards. that's probably the difference in the game.

Don’t care if Notre Dame is rebuilding, that’s a hell of a win. Winning the last 2 without Larson is especially impressive.

65-59 is the final. Great win!

Finish it off with a win over FGCU tomorrow and it's one hell of a weekend!

Gutty win by the girls. Twice and nice to beat ND for our 1000th win!
