    Default Looney Tunes Conference

    Summer slow time discussion topic:

Who's in the Looney Tunes Conference, made up of schools whose mascots bear some passing relation to one of the Warner Bros. cartoon characters.

    LTC Members:

    South Dakota State Jackrabbits (Bugs)
University of South Dakota Coyotes (Wile E.)
    Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners
    University of Arkansas Razorbacks (Porky)
University of South Carolina Gamecocks (Foghorn Leghorn)
University of Maryland Terrapins (Cecil Turtle--notably the only Looney Tunes character to consistently defeat Bugs)
    University of Oregon Ducks (Daffy)
West Virginia University Mountaineers (Somebody's gotta be Elmer Fudd)
Texas Christian University Horned Frogs (Michigan J. Frog . . . close enough)
Duke Blue Devils (Tasmanian Devil . . . again, close enough)

    Comments? Vehement disagreements? Apathetic agreement?

Edit: I'll entertain expansion members from the Hanna-Barbera, MGM, Disney, Jay Ward classic animated cartoon producers. Short-feature cartoon characters only please (except Flintstones, what the heck!) Simpsons, Family Guy, and other similar more recent cartoons aren't allowed (Pro League, them.)

Yeah, this is an old person's topic. Get off my lawn!

    Default Looney Tunes Conference

    UNLV for Yosemite Sam

One could argue Delaware over SC for Foghorn since they’re the Blue Hens.

Waiting for jury duty so I will play your game. Unc bears could be the Berenstain bears maybe. That's all I got.
