    Re: 2019/2020 Roster

The information provided is off a website called wrestlestat.com. It is a computer generated ranking. It gives you a general idea of where guys finished this year at. I wouldn't say it is totally accurate but it definitely give you an idea.

Logan Peterson has finished his wrestling career.
Seth Gross has entered the transfer portal and probably is not coming back.
Alex Lloyd is no longer part of the program. (#59 recruit last year)

Tanner Sloan will be a great addition and has a great chance to All-American next year. Unfortunately, he is probably the only top 30-ranked returning wrestler. The team will need to make huge strides to have a very a good tournament team. I do think the team with be a little better in duals.

Two recruits have a decent national ranking. Cade Devos - #76 and Spencer Trenary - #77

So there are 80 wrestlers that all-american each year with four classes competing. On paper these two have the talent to compete to be all-american, but them becoming all-american would mean the coaching staff is doing a good job at development.

FYI...Tanner Sloan was not considered a 100 recruit. So there are kids that can defy the odds.

It's too bad Alex Lloyd couldn't get good grades. SDSU needs him

Yeah, Alex was a big time recruit and we're going to be hurting at 149 and 157 once Pohlmeyer and Cook graduate (hopefully Lamer works out) but we can probably bring in a lot of recruits with the money that we're saving on he and Gross.

Lots of turnover on a college wrestling roster.

Was that the deal with him? Thought it was very strange that he wasn't wrestling with no word of injury. Hahn isn't as "Flashy" on social media compared to Bono but he's as good of a recruiter so I'm not worried, he'll find some hammers to add to the lineup. His New Jersey connections alone should start to show itself soon.

It doesn't look like there was a Tanner Cook on the Cornell roster. There was one wrestling with Finger Lakes Wrestling Club which may be the RTC for Cornell? He has 2 year of results 11-5, 6-3 at some college opens. I am not sure if this means he would be enrolling as a true freshman?

Cornell can't redshirt their wrestlers because they're an ivy, so they send their wrestlers to FLWC for a year as grey-shirts. I would guess that he would be a sophomore, but I'm not sure on that.

That would be amazing. One of the classics in SD High School Wrestling was Hutmatcher and Casperspoon.

Is that speculation or did he enter the Transfer Portal? Also did he wrestle last season unattached? FSU has posted their 18-19 individual records.

Cody Caldwell just posted the "great day to be a Jackrabbit" tweet followed by "#homecoming". Anyone have any ideas what that might mean ?
