Went to the Sioux Empire Staters' meeting today. The Alumni Assn is hosting in the convention center room Mon/Tues for 3 hours to 1/2 hr before tip for all SDSU games. Get knocked out, no get-togethers. Mr. Obvious strikes again.

Fort Wayne wasn't very good, but NDSU is god-awful.

Vermillion could've sent up the girls high school team and beat NDSU.

After the game, the Bison AD needs to buy Walseth a bus ticket for anywhere but back to Fargo.

The 7 and 8 seeds are making a good case for making it a 6 team tourney and top 2 seeds get a bye. They are not good. Not to bring other treads OJ into this but augie would give a much better effort for both teams.

Between the NDSU “offense” and the USD diaper shorts my eyes are about to bleed. Time to snowshoe over to the Ramada for a drink.

Just so much inconsistency on offense and defense. On occasion they did work the ball into their center who appears to be unstoppable by USD. They just did not run that play enough to keep USD lead to less than 50%. I give up and I never thought there would be a day where I would pity NDSU, but today is the final nail in Walseth's coffin.

She flopped ,NDSU player actually stopped waiting for the whistle, never came, play resumed. Hats off to ref seeing the "play acting", she had gotten by with it earlier, the standard delayed reaction was obvious in replay.

Today the SLT will continue while many Jackrabbits continue to mourn the upset of the MBB. ORU vs WIU will play 2 long range teams with some post game by the Golden Eagles. The Leathernecks may wish for another win without a big gal in the paint, but the ORU should have the advantage to win. Although, as we found yesterday Leathernecks should not be underestimated.
UND vs Denver finds roller derby vs quick possession long range shooting. Keeping Klabo off the line and running the F Hawks is the game I expect to see today. UND is not the best defensive team unless their bigs have chances to block shots in paint area. Turgeon's Pioneers should handle Brewster's rough and tough F Hawks.
