Most of the Illinois recruits already signed during the early signing period.

      Isn’t Blakley from Illinois?

He is the only one who didn't sign early.

ya butt lots of people are from Illinois. Not to sound like a smart aleck, does anyone know who of the staff is assigned to Illinois? I have serious doubts EE would steal a recruit on the way out the door. Does Blakely have the talent to play at the MAC level?

Illinois is a combination of Schleusner (spelling??) and Christian Smith. Luke is the Chicago area and Christian handles more rural areas. Eck and Jackson also pitch in. Illinois has a ton of high schools so it is to much for just one person.

To your second question, yes, Blakley has MAC level talent. His highest offer was this time last year from Iowa St. He had committed to Miami (OH) and has offers to most of the MAC.

Your valued answer to question 2 give us reason to worry. I will leave it at that.

Lujan moving to QB Coach. Interviewing for RB coach (currently has 50 applicants).
OC is either Eck or Schleusner. Both will stay with their respective position groups.

Eidsness isn’t the only coach leaving. May be a couple more. Stay tuned.

Upon looking at the list of coaches on the Jacks website it looks like the DC is gone as well as OC. Both removed from page!

You know, this might not be a terrible thing as long as Stig doesn't handcuff whoever takes over the DC. 2019 is shaping up to be a huge turning point year for Jacks football with TC, OC, and DC all gone.

I had to google ACU to see who they even were. Would this even be a lateral move? Best of luck to him.

He's going to be DC (not even HC) at ACU... a mid level team in the Southland conference...

I don’t get it either but sometimes coaches need to move on before they’re at a place too long. If he can help ACU and their defense he may be a HC candidate when Stig retires.

                                Good luck to Coach Brown!
