    Re: Summit WBB 2018-19

Mastodons stay with the Yotes after 1 quarter. 17 Mastodons 14 Yotes
The first game at Vermillion was 17-15 PFW after 1.

Mastodons tied 34-34 at halftime. They sure would like to have 3 in a row at home. It has been a few years.

Mastodons lose the recipe as they only score 8 and yotes had 14-0 run as the lead is the yotes 58-42 after 3 quarters. Mastodon 2 game winning streak does not look to make 3 games.

Yotes defense holds the Mastodons to 15 second half points for a final 71-49.

Leathernecks host the Bison. They win easily 82-70. The Bison(3-6) are still above the 1 win Omaha and 2 win PFW. Leathernecks move to 3rd place at 6-4.

Omaha could not keep control at Baxter Arena as Fighting Hawks pick up 4th conference win 68-67.

Looking at this week finds Yotes hosting Omaha and ORU. This should not stress the Yotes. Denver and WIU both travel this week. Pios at ORU & NDSU. Golden Eagles could push Denver. Leathernecks have the Mastodons & Mavs on their travel schedule. There should not be any big shake up for WBB this week barring upsets.

There is basically one game on the whole Summit schedule that matters anymore. USD at SDSU. The rest is just noise.

Another NDSU player leaves the team: 6’5” Macey Kvilvang. If Walseth isn’t gone after this year they may not be able to field a team next year.

I beginning to wonder if UND's athletic department is in charge of NDSU women's basketball. The decline in WBB at NDSU almost looks planned. Walseth should quit and return her salary to NDSU.

This doesn’t even include Sarah Jacobsen who basically redshirted herself for no reason this season. I’m assuming she is trying to save a year of eligibility for the post Walseth era that seems imminent.

Would be be done with school and go grad transfer?

Maybe AJ is looking for a grad transfer to help replace Macy and Madison? Why not... We have a scholarship left correct?

USD up 61-10 (no,this isn't a typo) on Omaha with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

AJ has one scholarship for 2019-20 but does not have one for 2020-21

Leathernecks beat Mastodons 90-61 and grab the lead for 3rd at 7-4.

Yotes brutalize Omaha 78-33(it may have not been that close.)

Denver falls on the road at Tulsa 74-66 as ORU slides ahead of Pioneers.

Yotes/Omaha was 56 at halftime. 56 to what? You might ask. No, 50 to 6. Yeah. And 29-0 after 1, I might add.
