    Default Summit WBB 2018-19

PFW looks like they will have a looonnng season as the Bison win 70-54 in Fargo.

Also, Denver scores 95 to whoop Omaha in Omaha 95-68. The Pioneers offense looks like it may travel.

So PFW wins the battle of “who is the worst team in the Summit League?”

If you get hammered by NDSU - you’re definitely a candidate. Wow. It seems like FW had some decent teams back in our early Summit days too. Is Denver the only one to really improve for this year?

Maybe they could schedule a mid conference season matchup with Savannah State to make that determination....

The lone WBB game tonight was at Tulsa matching UND vs ORU. The Fighting Hawks go to the free throw line 38 times to 18 for the Golden Eagles. F'Hawks were 34-38 at the line as they win 75-67. The link to the live stats page provided a video for the game through ORU Athletics. I could watch the 4th quarter of the game. We will see if that is the case in future games. The feed froze a few times, but it was a free feed which was not available through the normal feed access. Klabo was like a giant against the ORU team. The video showed the crowd to be between 150 and 2000. UND is 2-0 in the early part of the season with wins over PFW and ORU.

Yotes defense not up to par and 22 turnovers lead to Denver win. Denver shoots 62% fg. Denver 104 USD 99. That is larger than men losing at FW

Makes the Sunday game really big. A chance to get a 2 game lead over the Yotes just 3 games into the season. Denver is a scary team on their home court, but they really struggle on the road. Loven was a beast in this game.
