Up 10 under 3 minutes, on the road. Tough crowd.

Seems road games are going to be a grind, every Summit team knows each others play really well, makes it interesting.I thought W, Ill played a heck of a game, they just couldn't catch the rabbit tonight.

Western came out and took it to us. We have a bullseye on us and better expect to get teams best shots. Our bigs played way too passive in this game. Would be nice to learn how to defend a drive without fouling as well. Hard fought game. Take it and move on.

This was sort of a mirror image of the Oregon game. The favorite just could not pull away from the scrappy, hyper-motivated underdogs. Every time it got really close down the stretch the favorite hit a big shot to keep the lead safe.

Like most years, this year’s SDSU team seems to have two gears and the only use the higher one for BIG games. Other nights it seems they are going through the motions, especially on defense. The gap in talent between WIU and SDSU is probably wider on the women’s side than the men’s, but what a difference in results.

It’s frustrating because this WBB team has shown us twice already this year that they can play with the very best teams in the country, but they don’t seem to be too interested in bringing the same focus and intensity every night. Fortunately the championship games in Sioux Falls have nearly always brought out their A Game.

That pattern ought to keep the rest of the season interesting, I guess.

24 TO's on the Jacks, lazy passing against highly motivated players determined to get a hand on it, almost always ends up a TO , or a busted play as the ball goes out of bounds touched last by who knows who.Jacks shouldn't expect any lazy games by our Summit opponents cause hey, they're getting tired of losing to us, and it shows in their effort against us.

Both Irwin and RCJ need to step it up.

                      24 TO's is not acceptable

AJ only played 9 tonight ,looks like that's as far on the bench he'll go, unless our players can get us bigger leads, which probably will happen a few times in League play, otherwise our bench won't get much development in games this year other than these nine, I'd hate to see that, would much rather see more play, but winning the game comes before player development obviously.

Jacks were fortunate to get out of there with a win. Were getting beat off the dribble up top way too often, then forced to scramble to help and leaving wide open threes. And I don't know how you coach defense with the officiating. Touch someone 25 feet from the basket and you get whistled, and then all kinds of contact underneath goes uncalled.

                            "Only played 9."

Now that seems to me to be quite a quibble.

your right of course, too many, not making an excuse, we forced 20 on them, only 4 To's differential, but again, too many ,many were just because we weren't playing as intense as we should of, we have to play like every game is against Baylor, Oregon, then we don't make these silly TO's as much.JMO

Only 11 travelled. Bultsma and another one of the Freshmen didn’t play.
