After watching parts of both games, the other 3 Dakota schools are going to have a hard time beating the Jacks as long as we can put up 80 points.

Richman went with a bigger lineup and played Ward most of the half.

Who knows if he stays with it, he starts Quayle who wouldn't see minutes on a good NSIC team and seems resistant to play our two bigs togther even though the team plays better when they are both on the floor. I mean we are talking about the same coach that played Dex Werner off the bench and started a guy that isn't even seeing the floor at Mankato.

Who was that that's at mankato? Whose was your good freshman last year? I'm totally drawing a blank on his name.

Dylan Miller transferred to Mankato. Played in one game for 4 mins and no longer listed on roster.

            Oh yeah. That's not good.

It will take a combination of great play by the opponent and an off night from Daum AND Jenkins for this team to lose. If the freshman continue to develop, SDSU may even be able to survive that by the end of the conference season. Just head over to the Summit website and take a look at the conference leaders so far this year. It is basically the Daum and Jenkins show with some Konchar in there for fun.
Idk man.. saw something in that Montana game that made me nervous. Montana’s pretty solid though. Hopefully you’re right.

Montana was picked to win their conference. Nobody the Jacks will face in the summit is close to their talent. The only team that can beat SDSU between now and the first round of the big dance is SDSU.

                  FW 90 NDSU 87

FW asserts themselves as an early contender picking up two road wins to start their Summit season. That’s not easy to do on back-to-back days, especially way up in North Dakota. Well done.

Konchar put on quite a show down the stretch, drilling a bunch of long 3’s including the game winner at the buzzer in OT. Pretty amazing.

Any team that can get four or five road wins should have a shot at at top-3 finish. FW is off to a good start already having two. It will be fun to see how our game against them goes in a few days.

The Magical Mastodon named John Konchar carries the team in the 2nd half from a one time 15 point deficit to OT win 90-87. Mastodons must be tired today as their defense was more of a reach instead of foot movement.

                    Leathernecks are pounding Denver 78-60.

ORU went to Omaha and get the win over Mavs 87-83.

The Richman the rest of the Summit League knows and loves is back. The Bison Richman'd away a 16 point lead at home.

Just strange when our best player is 4th in minutes, he had 16 points(7/10), 9 boards, 2 assists and 0 turnovers. Wasn't in foul trouble either or dealing with any kind of injury. Of course most coaches would start their best player.

Fortunately, this is the last year of his five year contract. Things aren't so fortunate on the women's side, Walseth for some reason got a six year deal.

I would think Richmans status would make it less likely Moorheads Maleek Harden goes to NDSU. SDSU also has an offer out.

You guys have to eat that last year on walseth right? There is no reason for you to be this bad and there is no hope for next year. The summit needs good ndsu basketball desperately

I would think so but who knows, the previous women's AD cut her a sweatheart contract so I'm guessing we would be eating basically all of her salary.
