  • GDT: SDSU Jackrabbits vs UMKC Roooos @ Frost

The Roos(1-6) start in Brookings for the Summit League games against SDSU, Mastodons, and Yotes. They are still looking for the first D1 victory of the season as the lone win is against NAIA Avila. The Roos are picked 7th in the WAC this season. 5'8" guard, Xavier Bishop, is a bright spot for the Roos as he is a preseason 2nd team WAC selection. This could be a game to find more minutes for the new guys should the Jackrabbits get out to an early lead. Mike Daum may get a pat on the rump today for the recognition of becoming the all-time leading scorer in Jackrabbit basketball. The people who bought the special on the football tickets should pad the attendance tonight as well. Jackrabbits have won 8 of the last 9 against the Roos. It should not change as it comes 9 of 10. Go Jacks!!

By the way, this game is on Midco and ESPN+.

Should be a snoozer but it's always fun to watch the young guys get a little more PT. Will be interesting to see attendance tonight, wonder how many are actually taking advantage of the ticket special

Sounds like the roads are real crappy between Watertown and Brookings.

It's been raining most of the day farther south - and freezing on some of the concrete for the past few hours. That's not going to help with the Sioux Falls crowd.

One thing I'd really like to see tonight is Dillon get some decent minutes. He's either getting a TJ "message" or is simply outside what is more typical of a shortened late season rotation. What I don't want to see is us coming out completely flat - looking ahead to the big one Saturday night.

Should be, however they did only lose to Iowa by 14 points in Iowa City, and Iowa is no slouch. Looks like Iowa's better players didn't play the full game though, so who knows.

This would be a great time to remind those who claim casual fans do not come to football games during harsher weather...... There are many who risk health issues in those conditions as much as some fear risks in traveling tonight.

The young guys will get even more time tonight - especially O King. Jenkins got hurt in practice yesterday and is out. Tyler did not give any more details. Hopefully he’s just being held out for Saturday.

Found it. Thanks. For some reason it wasn’t in my main menu.

On the broadcast they mentioned sprained ankle.

If you haven't done so, go to your ESPN account and set SDSU basketball as a favorite team. The app will automatically bring the games right to the front of your list.
