This seems like it should be one of the primary stories of the game, and it's also why backs like Weymiller having success against the Jacks frustrates me even more

Think we stand corrected, and it was Danan Hughes rather than Emory Hunt

Three games left against MSU, SIU, and USD. Not for sure wins but the schedule does get easier. If the Jacks win out and get Wilson back along with the OL getting healthy ... they could be sitting pretty good health-wise going into the playoffs. A long way to go though. Hopefully nobody else goes down.

Also, UNI down 20 to WIU in the 4th quarter.

I have meant to ask Stig if Farley was a grad assistant when Stig was there as a grad assistant. That might explain the rivalry. Trying to crack UNI defense has been a big deal for a long time.

Yeah, the band started chanting it before the kick and started chanting it louder after the missed FG. It was a good time (except for the sousa player who was a Seattle fan.)

Our DL is freaking awesome, they were the MVP's of the game.

Online bios suggest Stig was at Northern when Farley was a GA at UNI. More specifically, Stig appears to have been at UNI from 1980-81, while Farley was GA from 86-88.

It probably helps that UNI has coaches like Bryce Paup on staff

Occupied blockers to free up LBs to make plays too.

Paup is now DLine coach for the Gophers.

The Farley factor drew him back in.

Jaxon Jahnke appears to be the best option at punt returner.

                              Thanks. Did not realize that.

No problem. I probably focus on competitors' staff pedigrees (NFL experience, FBS playing/coaching history, etc.) a bit more than others because I think it's a factor given short shrift by those critical of Stig.
