  • Our Rotation for 2018-19 (Who starts?)...

and how do you see our depth playing out? I have seen a few posts on this.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King PG, Jenkins Jr. SG, Flatten SF, Daum PF, ??????????? (5) Center.

Am I close? Will any of the new guys be a pleasant surprise?

I think we go small at least at the start of the season with Key, Tevin, Jenkins, Flatten, and Daum.

Ariens looked the best out of the freshmen in Canada, so I'd say he's the surest youngster to be in the rotation.

Dillon will play since we need to give Daum a break, but how much Alou plays I'm not sure yet. I don't think Dentlinger will play much this year, but I'd love to be wrong and see him challenge Dillon for minutes.

Owen King seems like he'll be playing this year, and I think it'll be him and Krieger fighting for the "8th man" spot.

It's likely that both Fiegen and Mims will red shirt this year.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

Canada showed that Dillon has a ways to go before he’ll be getting big minutes and Dentilinger barely saw the court. Daum is the closest thing we have to a “center” at this point. Getting Dillon up to speed by March will probably be pretty important. 10 quality minutes from him would probably be plenty most nights.

The four you listed plus Key will obviously all get big minutes. Dillon looks like Daum’s backup. Owen King, Arians and Kruger appeared to round out a 9-man rotation in Canada. I’d expect that to slowly get whittled down to 8 as the season goes on.
