  • Today - 24 hour giving challenge

In case the links don't work in the letter. Here they are in order:
One day for state - https://onedayforstate.sdstatefounda...g/p/athletics/
    Golf Outing - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...koXDA/viewform
    Golf Ball Drop - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stayjac...ts-49435652367

The following letter was received from Damion Hahn....

    Hi Loyal Jackrabbit Fans –
School is back in session, guys are back on the mat and we are rolling into the preseason. I am writing to ask for your support this week.

Tomorrow, August 29, is One Day for State which is a 24 hour giving challenge. We have an opportunity to not only raise money for our program but we can also win additional money by meeting certain giving goals. Please consider making a gift tomorrow – every gift counts! We are hoping to have the most donors in the Athletics department so please share with your friends and family. Gifts can be made here. Please make sure all gifts are designated to Wrestling.

As a reminder, Sept 22 is our golf outing. Space is filling up quickly and I do believe we will reach capacity. Also, we are still looking for hole sponsors. Please register for golf or sponsorships here.

Lastly, we have an exciting new event to announce – the #STAYJACKED Golf Ball Drop! We will be selling a limited number of golf balls and assigning numbers to each participant. On Sept 22, we will be dropping all the balls from an aircraft above the Brookings Country Club. If your ball is closes to the pin, you will win 50% of the income – you could win up to $5k. Purchase your golf balls here. You DO NOT need to be present to win so this is a great opportunity to participate in the golf outing if you aren’t able to attend in person. From what we understand, this contest has never been done in Brookings – please help us make history!

Thanks again for all you do to support our program.

    #STAYJACKED

It's super easy to choose which team (or department) you want your donation to go to with the "One Day for State" online system - takes little more than a minute. I went with wrestling this year because I thought a relatively small donation might mean more there. That crew has really been a bargain in terms of quality and entertainment the last few years and I hope it keeps growing.

There is a friendly competition of Most Donors between sporting teams at SDSU. Let's help the Wrestling Team win this challenge. Last year one of the women's teams won the most donors with around 100. We can crush that number with the wrestling communities help.

With this competition, it's about Most Donors, not most dollars. Please donate something, it can be $5. Let's help the wrestling team win.

      Here is the link:
      https://onedayforstate.sdstatefounda...g/p/athletics/

Select 'Make Donation' , 'One Day For State'
What would you like your gift to support? Select Wrestling from the drop down list.
(or Where it asks for "Do you want to give to something specific?", enter WRESTLING)

      Thank you.
