Any relation to Jerry, who played QB for the Huskers in the early 70's and played briefly in the NFL ?

It may be a grandson, but I haven't been able to confirm. Jerry had two boys - Nate and Zach. I'm not sure who grant belongs to.

Tagge also received an offer from Northern Illinois shortly after being offered from the Jacks. That is Eidsness’ recruiting area now.

Not at all surprised. Apparently, Eidness did not leave his recruiting notes behind for his successor.

The NIU Tagge offer looks like another blind MAC offer. It is starting to get really annoying that they are doing this. Yeah, the top targets like Ducker they have seen but the offers to our 2020 guys Seagren, Beanum, and Sullivan were completely blind. There was no actual face to face contact anywhere in the process. Just throwing offers out hoping something sticks. I certainly prefer the way our coaches do it in building a relationship, making an offer, then getting them on campus to close the deal.

The Seagren offer may not be as blind as you think. Seagren plays for a former Jackrabbit quarterback that had Eidsness as a his OC and i know they still keep in touch. Maybe it wasn't a face to face but you can bet they have been in contact.

Andy Rennerfeldt (1996-2000) is the Jackrabbit I was referencing.

Joe Anderson (USD DT 1996-2000) is the head coach and Andy's cousin. Andy has helped coach at Oakland for quite a while now. From there originally.

Nice I remember him. He took over for Bobby Bouche's cousin Noel? Or was it the other way around? Didnt they use to play under center then? I recall Brad nelson lining up under center because he seemed pretty tall having to squat down. Sorry for the random drift.
