Anyone have insight as to what happens to the Jackrabbit Wrestling Club and the money raised? Both Reader and Gross are registered for the Bill Farrell Memorial under Sunkist Kids WC.

Austin Broin or Coach Cadwell would be the ones to contact.

Sunkist Kids sponsors some of the high end wrestlers across the country. So I am guessing Sunkist is picking up the tab for entry fees and travel. So Jackrabbit WC does not have to pick up the tab.

Some things that JWC can use it funds for is paying for a club coach, paying for club athletes, or paying for SDSU athletes to go to off-season tournaments. I believe when Gross made the Junior World Team, Jackrabbit WC was flipping the bill to go to World Team Trials.

Hopefully, there will be more SDSU wrestlers competing in freestyle this off-season. In previous seasons, it seems like only a few compete. There could also be a desire to get someone in the wrestling club to train with Gross and the other wrestlers.
