The Mavs are 5-0 in Baxter this year. They also lost 3 of their key players(graduate & transfer) from last year's team that made a run in the SLT. Coach Hansen also has injury problems to work around this year with a key player Mitch Hahn riding the pine and recently activated transfer Suggs is on the floor now after an early injury. Do not feel sorry for Hansen since he is developing players to contribute. It is 7pm game which I will need to listen on the radio. Tonight we will find if there is a different rotation for the Jackrabbits. The Jackrabbits should be capable to win this road game, but they will need to play a good game and not let the Mavs think they have a chance with Hansen at the helm. Go Jacks!!

The starters they currently put on the floor scored a total of 7 points in the title game last March in Sioux Falls. The game is not listed on ESPN 3. It looks like they are running video on their All-Access - we both use Sidearm Sports as our server. Do we still share videos with schools that use the same server ? It's not listed on our site, but it doesn't usually show up until right before gametime. -

A lot of talk about how we played a short bench against NDSU and if we do it again tonight. Some things to think about, it could have be a matchup decision. NDSU plays slower with fewer possessions/game which could of lead to TJ not feeling like he needed to expand his bench. He seems to have settled in with a starting lineup of TK, DJJ, Skyler, Reed, & Daum w/Severyn & Ian first off the bench. Even though the game was higher scoring and more up-tempo then expected I'm comfortable with just playing that group of 7 in slower games. Key & Howell can be turnover prone and unless Howell is backing a guy down in the post they offer little offense. With that said, I believe those two will play tonight due to Omaha's fast pace style of play. Extra bodies will be needed to make sure our core group has enough gas in the tank to finish off the game. No matter their record, Omaha has given us fits since they joined the league so I expect a close game.Comment

There was no mention of player discipline in the pregame visit on radio. It might just be what it is and we are looking at 7 man rotation. Until there is more information provided otherwise, short rotation it is.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. This game is going to get ugly for the Mavs. Not seeing any sign that they'll have even close to enough defense to comeback in this one.If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.
