Could be King's year. If so, that makes this team really scary come conference time.

Jenkins Jr. with 20...3 followed up by an and-1 which he converted - sets a career high. Boom. 2:05 left, we are up 8. 16 points for King which is also a career high.

I think we may see Jenkins Jr. set a new career high several time this season. Great recruit

Big win for the Jacks to get some pep back in their step after two disappointing performances. Do this again tomorrow and leave the islands with some momentum.

Jacks beat Iowa with Daum only scoring 10 points. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far this year. Minus the 24 turnovers yesterday of course.

There's something about a perimeter player that can just put the ball in the bucket.

With the amount of time Otz spent in Ames, beating the Hawks has to be extra special for him, and Telly as well. Will be interesting to see if the King as starting PG experiment continues.

Been very happy with Tevin King as the PG. (I know this was only 1 game starting...but he's played point when Key has gone to the bench in the other games)

He may not be the "traditional point guard", but he's a great defender and having him on the court with other shooters is important.

I'm not giving up on Brandon Key, either, by any means. Tevin just has a steady hand and I think it's hard to have Key and Tevin on the floor at the same time. (2 guys who don't look to shoot much, although TK is looking better)

I said this earlier in the thread, but I think the eventual lineup is: King, Jenkins, Howell, Telly, Daum. (Or maybe you put Severyn/Flatten in for Howell, sounds like he struggled today, too). I just like how Howell doesn't play scared. But he doesn't always make the smart play.
