Douglas is warming up. TC and hopefully JW and DG are all done for tonight.

If he is, it's very minor. Not getting attention on the sideline, standing and watching with the other players.

Didn't play that much in the first half, didn't play at all the second half

We've pulled at least 4 redshirts, correct? Urbanek, Wilson, Cavanaugh and Callender. Anyone else?

I guess I hadn't noticed that. Maybe aggravated something or has something lingering and it wasn't worth risking anything tonight.

I'm guessing it's precautionary. Goedert looked fine in his minimal reps. No need to play him any more than necessary if he did get dinged in practice. Save him for Montana State.

Second team offense could be a little more imaginative on offense than every play either the back (Daniels) taking the hand off or the QB throwing when he doesn't take the hand off every down.

Why? No reason to show anything.

It doesn't give Daniels much of a chance does it? Or even Douglas for that matter. These guys deserve better in my opinion to show what they have

8 redshirts pulled in the first game? Geez, that seems really, really high.

                              Nice win, overall.

Holding Hines to 34 yards on 13 carries was huge. DUQ was done in the first quarter.

The O-line did pretty well, too. No sacks on TC. Stings to see Weir take a hit like that, though.

Now on to watch Montana State play Wazzu on Saturday. Next Saturday will be a good test.

Oh, and crowd was over 12K tonight. Jacks' Twitter tweeted that there were 4,251 students tonight and they definitely made a difference.

Another nice stat is the Jacks held the Dukes to 2-11 on third downs.

So Hines got the Rice award over Rozeboom last year. Interesting.
                                Holy nutmeg!
