I loved Lorenzo last year, dude is balls to the wall every time he steps on the field.

Clark wieneke as a safety from running back would be a pretty challenging switch I would think.

Yeah, I think he's swimming with the technique right now. He's smart though and will catch on.

            Defensive Line preview: https://jackrabbitillustrated.blogsp...sive-line.html

This group looked really good on Sunday. Chase Kern has really boosted this group. Callender didn't practice on Sunday and was working with strength and conditioning coach Moe. Winkleman has been may be the biggest surprise and I wouldn't be shocked if he got in on the rotation this year. Smenda and Wilson look so good at time and other times get a little lost.

On the inside, Whitsell was out on Saturday and Spencer Hildahl took first team reps. Coach Smith is really high on Spencer. Smith was complimentary of how much Stacker and Barrett have improved since the spring.

I'm liking what I'm reading about the D unit stepping up against our outstanding O. Where the Jacks could get stymied toward repeating as MVFC champs, is getting ground down on D, because they can't get off the field. Can't have TOP be >35 against Jacks, and have expectations on beating the Bison. The write-up that has JMU/NDSU as #1A & #1B, and has the Jacks #3. If it's not JMU/NDSU, SDSU & Sam Houston St are the likely #3/4. Just really need to be on opposite bracket from Bison.

Not sure what happened, but it should be fixed now. It was working. Too much traffic, I guess. lol

Go Jacks and Tyler Merriam provided their video preview: https://twitter.com/GoJacksFB/status/892798412315402240

Zimmer was right in his article this week. Taryn looks really really really good. It is hard to believe that he could make such a big jump, but he has. If the o-line can hold up and give him even decent time, we should have the best offense in the league again.
