    Re: 2019 Recruiting List

We have to be getting pretty far down our linebacker board. Imagine coaches are getting pretty discouraged.

I wonder what the issue is or if there is one? SDSU has always had pretty decent LBs.

        Re: 2019 Recruiting List

I don't know if this has much to do with the LB issue, but between Urbanek and Wilson, in addition to Kleinschmidt and Rozeboom, we have a bunch of young LBs who either are starting or will be soon. It's quite possible that these kids are afraid they'll be buried on the depth chart at LB. That doesn't explain the ones that have verbally committed and flipped, but it could be creating a tougher sell for LBs this year on the recruiting trail.

Exactly right. There is a mess of good young linebackers on the roster. Fenske, Kinser, Johnson will be just fine. Also sounds like December commit Michael Littleton will be moving to OLB.

These guys are big boys and eat hardy meals, I hope we land these two based on size.

Gunner Cruz getting a few more offers, Washington St and UNLV. I have a feeling his offers are going to blow up here in the next few months. Great kid, that is community minded, it's a long shot that he comes here but if you get a chance follow him. I think he's going to be fantastic for whoever gets him.

Ethan Piper received offer from Nebraska. I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t take that offer. Scott Frost is turning the in state tide back to walk on’s and getting the in state talent locked up in Nebraska.

I think we will always be looking for the next Dallas Goedert. With that said... offer to a three-star TE out of Wichita.

TE - Clay Cundiff***, 6'4" 235, Wichita, KS (Bishop Carroll) - HUDL
                        Offers: Kansas, USD, Illinois State
