Still wish it was us that ended it. I believe we are just as good as JMU.

Our good may just be as good as JMU's good, but our consistency is not.

I think the coaches, and perhaps players, bought into how,SDSU "dominated" the first game. When that didnt happen right away the offense was lost. Then the fact that we decided to give 10yd cushions was killer on defense.

The Dukes played better, with a better game plan, than SDSU half last week.

Except maybe coaching. Aggressive defensive play calls, especially on 3rd down, aggressive offensive play calls even when you're up.

You all can keep complaining about our team. I'm going to sit back and enjoy knowing, along with the rest of the FCS, that NDSU will not be going back to Frisco. I wanted it to be us, too, but I'll take this! I'm cheering for James Madison in the title game regardless of who wins the game tomorrow. (I'll worry about next year when spring football starts up which is after basketball season. Go Jacks!)

Is it just me or is this and some other tweets from our coaching staff this year incredibly childish? Personally I think there is no place for our coaches to be posting garbage like this on Twitter.

This. Right. Here. We arent consistent for whatever reason. Look back at the last four games of our season. We were far from dominate even though we won 3 of those 4.

We tend to start really good but then it seems other teams get some film and scheme to take our strenghs away. We beat the inferior teams but tend to lose to anyone remotely close to our level. We cant make adjustments to win games against elite competition especially late in the season.

No I think Coach Eck was accurate in saying motivation was lacking, and its hard to get everyone up for every game. NDSU no doubt has very good team discipline. It seem to be lacking against JMU.
