Hopefully they will get a decent turnout, it seems like this will be a neat event. It's great to see basketball get going. I can't wait to see these two teams take the court; one has so many new pieces and the other has top-25 potential. We're pretty fortunate with SDSU basketball.

Imagine students won't show up if they can't drink near by.

I snuck alcohol into most games in Frost, so I'm sure they'll be okay.

Is there anyone who can watch TJ speak and not be excited about this team? There is a reason this guy is such a great recruiter. If he can coach on the sideline we are in for a fun ride. Love his personality.

Ive been skeptical of this team ever since I watched this video (Still didn't think they'd struggle this much). They have had a ton of turnovers and poor shots to start the year. I think Coach Otz has a lot to learn, but I understand it's going to take time. I just hope we don't lose too many players.

Ive been skeptical of this team ever since I watched this video (Still didn't think they'd struggle this much). They have had a ton of turnovers and poor shots to start the year. I think Coach Otz has a lot to learn, but I understand it's going to take time. I just hope we don't lose too many players.

OK - think about it for a minute:

1) New coach and coaching staff
2) New offensive and defensive philosophy for ALL current players
3) All new backcourt - losses to graduation
4) 3 new rotation guys to the team

Common sense would suggest given the relatively difficult schedule to start the season that the Jacks Men's BBall team would struggle. They WILL finish top four of the conference, if not win it all. Once they get to and through Christmas break they will emerge a solid and difficult to beat team.

Give this coaching staff a chance to mold the players.

TJ et al run a different offense than his predecessor.
Losing Marshall et al is a big loss, SDSU is not Duke where they reload for one All-American with another waiting in the wings.

With the end of the football season, it now officially means you all can worry about the basketball team (well, now teams, unfortunately.) You can all start by watching this week's update video and complaining about it. Spoiler: They plan to stick with the 1-3-1 zone defense.
