Probably referencing recent Hobo Day losses, not necessarily losses to YSU. Hopefully the Jacks and the fans are amped but not overconfident; YSU has a pretty stout defense. How about UNI only having like 88 yds passing against YSU?

Sounds like UNI knocked two of the YSU QBs out of the game, so it will be interesting to see who the Jacks will face. YSU threw several INT's so maybe the Jacks can have a "pick 6" or two during the game.

Yes, I'm referencing our consecutive Hobo Day losses. We haven't won since my freshmen year, and I would like see to see them win one again. And no more close ones where we need to score on the closing drive. That's getting annoying!

What I thought was interesting was the uni game had a total of 30 pass attempts. The whole game. Both teams. I don't think any other team has the offense to hang with us. Some of the stats looked like they were defensive games for sure.

You are right! Dom Izzo kept calling last Saturday "Separation Saturday" but this sure looks like it could be even more, especially for the MVFC.

Streveler was hurt last week and didn't play today. USD has won all 4 games by 3 points.

Saeger played, but Austin Simmons looked better

Doesn't belong here but didn't want to start a new thread. If you haven't, go check out the OU vs. Texas Tech box score. 1700 yds total offense between the two teams and TT qb threw the ball 88 times.

It's great to be on top of the standings, but also having the tie-breaker over the #2, #3 and #5 teams makes it even better.

UNI is a puzzling case. Though it has been a mess, their season might not quite be lost yet. They switched to a sophomore QB and put up video game numbers on what looked like an improved Missouri State. NDSU comes to town next weekend in a very interesting game. Will NDSU be able to defend the pass?

USD's luck runs out as they fumbled at the WIU 1 in the 4th quarter.

WIU then went down the field and scored a TD. Bergner's 54 yard FG at the buzzer was short. Final was WIU 35, USD 34.

USD's playoff hopes are on life support now. Need to win out.
