In all seriousness, good get for the Jacks on this one.
Yep. What was a really good day for us ended up being an epic day in recruiting for NDSU. You guys are killing it this year. I felt like we had turned a corner in recruiting last year, but this summer you have been cleaning up.

Bison did have a good day yesterday. 3 of the 6 verbals were kids we had known offers out to:

      Jackson Enz
      Bartholomew Ogbu
      James Kaczour
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

We have all seen great kids in HS all verbal before and everyone gets excited, 4 yrs from now lots of names disappear and the not so big recruits turn out to be studs, happens at every school. MvFC is a great conference to recruit to, after that it's how the coaches develop the kids

Bartholomew Ogbu is from Nigeria and has only played two years of high school ball. Apparently he has adapted quickly to America football. I would have loved to have seen in a Jack uniform.

I know where he is from, that really doesn't matter an athlete is generally good at most sports, had FBS interest also

my point was, we will see who is still around in 4 years, we have had lots of "big" recruits and it seems more often than not they don't pan out and the players that develop into something make it. kind of lime our former OL Joe Heag

Spot on. No way to measure heart or the size of the motor the athlete runs on. In my opinion, the MVFC is the premier league in FCS because of the coaching. A lot of great coaching staffs in the league. The other factor has been the stability of the coaches and staffs. SDSU has had Stig for years, he's a former Jack, he's the perfect fit for you. NDSU even when they lose a head coach, they promote from within and the continuity remains.

When it rains, it pours... NDSU lands Riley Moss, CB out of Ankeney, IA. Had offers from us, Northern Illinois and UND.

Does this mean that that the federal government needs to alter the drought map and add some green to North Dakota?

Chad Stark is still hanging around Fargo, so they must have done something right for him. There are so many things that go into a career. Like you said some dont pan out. I think Ugbu is an interesting guy. So many offers, tells you something about the guy. I think Ugbu will pan out.

Max appears to move pretty well for a kid his size. Awesome to see another local kid on board.

Have we ever had a player that BIG before? I know we've had some taller, but that combination of frame and weight is pretty exceptional!
