    Re: New wrestlers

I didn't see this posted before, but an amazing story about Alex Lloyd from Shakopee. Here is a second article that also highlights some of his past and mentions how he and Peyton Robb are best of friends. Each had one loss during the season and it was to each other. Landing both him and Robb is going to be huge!!! Don't be surprised to see one or both become future All-Americans as Jackrabbits.

SDSU adds a HWT from Ohio. Originally had committed to Boise State but opened his recruitment up when they folded. He was ranked 6th nationally by intermat.

          HWT: Kevin Vough; Elyria, OH
Jackrabbits: Long ears, strong hind legs, gritty, relentless, fearless.

Looks like we have some pretty good bookends! 4-time State Champion from Missouri at 125, and now, Kevin Vough at 275!

A few of the recruits were in the junior national duals, you can see results on track wrestling

                    Re: New wrestlers

Not sure if this is the wrestling recruiting radar thread or not. Nash Hutmacher from Chamberlain went 7-1 in Greco and 8-0 Freestyle in the Jr National Duals in Tulsa. 3 other heavyweights went undefeated as well(it was a dual bracket type tournament so they all didn't wrestle) The difference between the 4 undefeated heavyweights? The other 3 are all D1 recruits headed off to college next year. Nash is off to Chamberlain High to be a sophomore. Simply incredible. The timing of getting him into SDSU would be perfect with a Redshirt to transition him to starting Heavyweight, as long as the current HWT recruit holds. I don't see him not wrestling for SDSU. I do see him playing football elsewhere if there is an opportunity. Simply amazing athlete.
