  • Former NFL Jacks

Wasting time before the Super Bowl so I made this screensaver of jersey's of former Jacks that played in the NFL.

The criteria was that the players had to play 10+ games (added Zenner assuming he will get there) and didn't include players before 1950. I used the custom jersey maker from NFL shops.

Besides the Four Corners (Langer, Vinatieri, Retzlaff, Timmerman) - the players are arranged by order of most games played.

Very cool. Zenner is 34 not 41.

      Whoops, I'll have to edit.

Looks like he was wearing 41 in the preseason.

Did Batten ever play a regular season snap?

He started at least 1 game in his NFL career.

Danny sat out his first year due to injury (2010), played in 16 games (starting 4) in 2011, and then was cut due to injury.

I think if his shoulder would have held up he would have had a solid NFL career.

Batten played long enough to get a $15,000 fine for a hit on Mike Vick.

Which leads me to another rant, I get that football players make a lot of money, but most don't play long enough to be set for life. Fine's should be based on a percentage of their paycheck, not a set amount of cash. In 2011, Batten's salary was $405,000. Or $25,312.50 per game. A $15,000 fine out a game check for a player like that is huge.

Simple solution. Don't cheap shot the QB.
