  • GDT: SDSU vs NDSU another moving day

The first game in Fargo illustrated the speed the Bison want to play this year. Lemar is the motor for that pace. She plays nearly every game in entirety as she is averaging 38.6 minutes. The Jackrabbits will certainly know where Lemar is during the game as she is averaging nearly 20 pt/g and 4.5 assists. Lemar touches the ball on nearly every possession. The second half in Fargo indicated that the Jackrabbits could slow her down(1-6 fg & 5-6 ft & 4 assists & 4 TO). The first half Lemar made a few unlikely shots(10-14), but when you are hot they all go in. SDSU defense needs to get Lemar frustrated to make a few mistakes. The Jackrabbits should move to 6-3 conference while the Bison go 5-4 as their road woes(1-3) continue. Go Jacks!!

And also, the players that compliment LeMar had a good game also when we played up North too, that always happens when you get a player on your team that starts out ridiculously hot, it ignites the tinder around them and you get a raging fire. We should be more in control and be able to dictate better how the game goes in Frost. We will wear them down and eventually sap their will to an extent to claim a victory, how much, I'm not quite sure, but thinking 10-15 in a rivalry game and given they just beat us last time out and they'll be motivated to repeat .We will be motivated to restore order. It will be a good game.

30 point lead. Reminding the Bison of their true place in the pecking order. I'm enjoying this.

A solid piece of revenge for the slip-up in Fargo. NDSU takes another road loss 1(-10). I hope that carries over to Sioux Falls.

This was a solid thumping. The Jackrabbits dominate the Bison in every phase of the game. Defense was outstanding. The Bison kept Lemar in the game for the entire 40 minutes. The Bison were worn out in the second half. 52 points is the second lowest output for the Bison this year.

It definitely was a thumping. It's scary what the score could have been if the Jacks had hit some of the 5 or 6 three-footers and lay-ups they missed in the first half.

I was surprised when Lemar stayed in the game after the thumping the Jacks gave the Bison women. Bison coach would have looked pretty foolish had she gotten hurt playing meaningless minutes. Must have wanted to get her / her points I guess.

However, the loss to the Bison in Fargo appears to have been a fluke. The real Bison WBB team showed up last night. I do not believe they will be any threat to challenge in SF.

I think it is safe to say the ladies have righted the ship! Looking forward to having USD up to Frost and having Waytashek in the game. Me thinks that game is going to look a lot different as well.
