Pretty sure Creighton is coming to Frost. Notre Dame also...or is that 2015-2016?

I dont know if it was for sure when they were coming here. I think it was said that it was either be 2014-15 or 2015-16. Unless i missed something and it was decided. Which is very possible.

Friday night against BYU in Frost. That's a great way to start off the season. Hopefully some of the energy from the NIT crowds will carry over.

BYU took us to the woodshed last year. Time to return the favor.

We should expect that there might be another school or two that come from a power conference for a home and home exchange. There has been a trend such as Washington St. Gonzaga, Iowa, Nebraska, Georgetown, Penn St. and a few others.

While I agree with the premise of the power conference, and would add Kansas, Missouri, Alabama, Marquette to the group; Gonzaga, Middle Tn, UALR, are other mid-majors where the leagues have generally only sent one team. Gonzaga, like MTSU, and UWGB are good counterparts and models for what we are striving toward at SDSU. Women's basketball, under AJ, IMHO is there. The only differerence is to get to be a consistent top 50 RPI team, rather than a consistent top 100 RPI team.

Unfortunately, to get there, the rest of the Summit League needs to get to SDSU's level of performance and OOC schedules and records. The Summit League has a long ways to go.

Creighton's schedule is out and they are coming to SDSU in late November.

This schedule definitely qualifies as "Jackrabbit tough"

Does this mean we'll have Notre Dame, DePaul, Marist and Arkansas at Frost for 2015-2016? Wow.
I like this schedule as demanding and challenging, yet is not so overpowering and allows games for our developing players to grow, without worrying about making a mistake now and then.Mostly tough games on the road though.

Mixing the end of last season with the start of this one we have the following set of consecutive games at Frost: Butler, Creighton, Minnesota, Indinana, BYU, Creighton. Impressive.

The season has a couple of tough road stretches, but I like the beginning with 4 home games(2 exhibition) and the end of the conference season ending with 6 0f 9 home games. It should be a good year to see the new players find a spot in the rotation.
