UNO adds 6'9" 240# Daniel Meyer. He redshirted his first year at Wright St and he appears to be eligible this next season.

Is there any word if USD is still in contention for Sergej Vucetic? 7'1 sophomore from Nebraska

On paper, this would be a HUGE get (pun intended). However, he never developed at UNL and he probably understood that to advance his basketball future he would need to play at a program that needed a big man at a lower level than a conference like the B1G TEN. Lee Barfknecht, a writer from the Omaha World Herald wrote the following after interviewing Coach Miles on the lack of playing time for Vucetic:

“The one thing about basketball is you’ve got to be quick to the ball to be good defensively and to be good into a move,” Miles said. “Sergej has gotten stronger and is building a better core. But if you can’t end possessions or move your feet to keep guys in front of you on post moves or block shots or especially end possession in rebounds, you can’t play. I haven’t seen it consistently enough in practice to warrant playing time. And practice matters.”

In two seasons with the Huskers, he scored a total of 12 points and added 8 rebounds.

Good for the Purple Aces, I am sure he will enjoy Evansville. Gopherhole post was spot on.

The yotes find a larger SG in the JC ranks.

Unfortunately that's the only way she would find playing time. She doesn't have to sit out a year correct?

                        Re: Summit League Transfers

Jon Sobaski, a 6'1" combo guard from Prior Lake just got his release from NDSU so that he can play for Concordia St. Paul, a DII school. Sobaski had been recruited by nine D1 schools including SDSU. He had offers from NDSU and USD. I'd be speculating on why he left, so I leave that up to the experts.

"Happy to say I was released from my NLI And have now officially signed with Concordia St. Paul! Proud to be a Golden Bear!

So far Joey James has pulled 2 recruits in that had signed NLI to DI universities (Sobaski and Decker) in his short time at the helm. I think he'll do pretty well in the Northern Sun.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

The yotes will be chasing him down to coach when Smith is ready to move.
