Per Vandrovec, Waytashek hasn't been ruled out for Saturday.

Sounds like the Waytashek injury was a normal ankle sprain and expectations are for a normal recovery. Will she be available for Saturday vs NDSU? Hopefully she will be, but if not I would think the Jacks can handle the Bison without her. Get her healthy for the trips to Denver in USD. Actually good news about Megan as at first blush I thought she hurt her knee. Glad to hear she will be just fine. Megan is a HUGE part of the Jackrabbit success over the years.

Agreed, but more importantly, make sure that she is healthy for the tournament. Regular season champs is nice, but IMO, it doesn't mean much if we don't make the bid dance.

I agree, regular season champs means nothing more than a #1 seed and a bye. That said, if she is healthy and wants to play she should absolutely play. The push is on, this team needs to tighten things up and get in tune for the tourney. Things have been plenty rocky the last 4 games.

Megan had a sprained ankle as reported. This clip talks about some others having an opportunity to come forth and contributing. Megan will be back, but it sounded like Kerri and Rachel may be at this spot in the lineup Saturday.

There's a Waytashek on Northern's women's basketball team, freshman Paige Waytashek. Megan's sister? Also from Lino Lakes, MN, Centennial High School. KELO Land TV's report of the NSIC championship game mentioned Paige.

Yep. Was watching the Midco broadcast at that time and they said she was Megan's sister.
