Interest in Ezra Szczyrbak. He's from Minnesota I believe. Not sure how much interest but he was at the camp. He's also going to U of Minnesota Duluths and UNIs.

Offer to QB Easton Stick yesterday. He's from Omaha, NE and attends Creighton Prep. Looks like the first QB offer we've seen.

Shouldn't he be a baseball recruit?

I had this thing typed out about how I double checked and he's football, etc....and then it clicked. Easton, I get it!

Also Trey Carr from Omaha was offered by NDSU.

                      Re: 2014 Recruiting List

I've updated the board on the first page with some new recruits - so take a look if it has been a few days. In addition, I've cleaned up the layout by removing the hyperlinks as pasted in and attached them to the recruit's name. If there were multiple links, I've included them as additional links.

If you find anything not working or needs to be updated, please let me know.

                      Thanks!

                        Re: 2014 Recruiting List

During the lazy dazes of summer, it seems that unless you are a die hard baseball fan, it can be a pretty boring sports season. To add a little fun to the forum, I've nominated my first "All-Name" Recruit Team. Team members are selected based on their name and not their ability nor availability. Please add your own names.

Offense (12 players allows team to come out in either a 3 WR set or with multiple backs)

QB - Easton Stick, 6'2" 195, Omaha, NE (Creighton Prep) - Home of the College World Series and the next big "Stick" to take snaps.
RB - Matt Guida, 6'0" 200, Queen City, AZ - Working class running back who is not afraid to do the dirty work - "Hey Guido, we've got a job for yah"
RB - Austin Rose**, 6'0" 219, Lincoln, NE (North Star) - His running style is a thing of beauty.
WR - Isaiah Lesure, 6'3" 170, Mount Horeb, WI - Throw the ball his way, cause he will "Lesure" catch the ball.
WR - R.J. Urzendowski**, 6'0" 184, Omaha, NE (Creighton Prep) - "Uzzi" is a dangerous weapon flying down the field.
WR - JyJy Williams, 5'7" 155, Omaha, NE (Bryan) - Seriously, how many people do you know named - JyJy?
TE - Eric Lutzen, 6'6" 220, Pewaukee, WI - Who else do you want to lead you into battle? There have been two Battle of Lutzens that were fought 200 years appart and the victorious leaders were Gustavus Adolphus and Napoleon.
OG - Charlie Duckstad, 6'4" 260, Fertile, MN (Fertile-Beltrami) - Part of the famous northern "Duck Dynasty".
OG - Cole Hansen, 6'4" 280, Derby, KS - Nephew of the famous "Hanson Brothers" from the movie 'Slap Shot'. Not afraid to do the dirty work even if it gets ugly.
OT - Andy Fidler, 6'6" 255, Port Washington, WI - Roots go back to Russia, where his great, great, grampa - Tevye, led his people away before the Commies took over Tsarist Russia.
OT - Austin Noble, 6'5" 275, Cannon Falls, MN - Extremely intelligent and honorable lineman who will hold up the strong tadition of 'student athletes' at SDSU.
OT - Brendan Brosnan***, 6'6" 274, Park Ridge, IL - Looks more like 007's Iron Curtain nemisis, but will do the ugly trench work that his pretty uncle Pierce won't do.

Defense (This is the new 3-4 set that coach is experimenting with)
DE/OLB - Gregory Menard, 6'2" 215, Lakeville, MN (Lakeville North) - "Saving money at Menard's..."
DT - Kelepi Fifita, 6'1" 270, Phoenix, AZ (Camelback) - Filthy, filthy tackle who does not mind tearing up the muddy natural turf at Coughlin.
DE - Tommy Trueblood, 6'3" 220, Elkhorn, NE (Elkhorn South) - His talent runs deep in the blood.
LB - Tristan Butcher**, 6'2" 230, Coweta, OK - The Butcher from Coweta - nough said.
LB - Garrett Poppen, 6'0" 205, Giltner, NE - I-back sneaks out of the backfield for a pass, and POPpen levels him.
LB - Daniel Vega, 6'4" 260, Cedar Rapids, IA (Xavier) - World's ugliest car, but Vega unleashes his scorned ego out on running backs.
LB - Terrance Finley, 6'0" 225, Omaha, NE (Bryan) - Finley's finest hour is blitzing the QB.
DB - Ross Drwal, 6'1" 195, Omaha, NE (Millard West) - Puttin up the DrWall on the opposition's passing game.
DB - Tim Gordon**, 5'11" 158, St. Paul, MN (Cretin-Derham Hall) - Ain't no wideout getting by 'Flash Gordon'.
Safety - Makiah Slade, 6'0" 195, Lincoln, NE (Northeast) - Slade the "Blade" will cut down anyone cutting across the middle.
Safety - Robbie Wallace, 5'11" 200, Covington, GA (Newton) - Last line of defense - Robbie "Stone" Wallace!
