He did. I think. Remember I thought he had committed to Ill way back last fall but I was wrong, then, shortly after I was wrong he did commit to Ill (at least I'm pretty sure).

Thanks. I did this pretty quickly this morning and missed it. Not working today.

Jon Sobaski from Prior Lake, MN committed to NDSU today. He's a 6'1" guard. This is interesting as one of his coaches, Alex Focke, was a GA for State just a couple years ago. State did not offer him a scholarship.

It's possible that via Wolters (and Carlson, too, and even Prince who's listed at 6'3") Nagy has just become really, really fond of the big guard concept.

I think it was the coaches show at Cubby's that Coach Nagy said he preferred a guard like Wolters to that of Cannan. Cannan is only 6 ft and Nate is 6'4" and has the ability to see the whole court and know where everyone is at any given time. Cannan being shorter does not have that ability. So I agree.

Sounds like SDSU was at the Mountain Lake, MN section final to watch Carter Kirk, 6'-7" forward score 25 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Not sure how much interest we have, but we did attend the game to look at him.

J.P. Macura's recruitment has expanded, and many believe he is about ready to blow up. Currently holds a bunch of mid-major offers (Dayton, UW-Milwaukee, New Mexico-St, North Dakota, North Dakota St., Northern Colorado, South Dakota St., St. Louis, Toledo, Utah St., Vermont, Wyoming)

Some of the comments I've heard recently is best recruit out of Minnesota for 2014 outside of the big 3 (Tyus Jones, Rashad Vaughn, and Reid Travis), best shooter in the state of Minnesota, one of the top "pure shooters" for the entire 2014 class.

                        Re: 2014 Recruits

I watched Macura play against Tyus Jones in mid-January. He took Apple Valley to overtime before fouling out. Real skinny kid but very good player. Quick and got to the basket real well. Didn't shoot real well that game but it was clear he had the green light from anywhere at anytime. Had 29 that game if I remember right. I would love to see him in yellow and blue.

If he puts on some size this summer there is no reason he couldn't jump out of the mid-major category.

according to this interview http://www.premierball.com/2014-ian-...all-interview/ Ian Theisen has an offer from SDSU, as well as Drake, Cal Poly, Northern Colorado and Vermont. Also has one from San Jose State according to I think his coach via twitter.

I wont put a lot in here because I don't want to derail this thread but I saw that a couple of things that are "really important" when picking a college are winning and playing early. I really hope he is a high DI player who comes to SDSU so he can achieve both of those goals.
