  • Best Sports Cities

Had a chance to briefly glance through the Oct. 10th issue of The Sporting News that ranked the top sports cities in the U.S. Brookings came in at 146th,while Fargo was ranked 176th and Vermillion was 240th..If CAS didn't have those doggone paint-flaking bleachers that made the Bison faithful fear for their lives,Brookings might have cracked the top 100 !

Port-a-potties make up for it, though.

Am surprised that there has been no response from Bizon or Yote-land. They usually are quick to jump in when they think they have been wronged.

            Fargo:

            NDSU
            FM Red Hawks
            Fargo Force
            MSUM*
            Concordia*

            Brookings
            SDSU

If it has some sort of grading system then fine but if its based on teams and population than its nothing but a bad list like the current coaches poll
            COncordia*

Obviously it is a grading system and they ranked SDSU better than NDSU, Fargo Force, etc., combined, which all us Jack fans knew anyway. Gotta be that open air at CAS. Indoor football doesn't cut it.

Fargo probably got docked for not having a high enough sheep/men ratio. They like their sheep up north!

Yes, but further north. You have to drive an hour north of Fargo to witness that buggery.
