Hate the decision to punt at the end of the half. Especially since we have to kick to start the 2nd half.
I was having the same thoughts/concerns.
What a crazy firs half so far.
I mean, even if it's a free ball, you're not allowed to head butt a dude in the ankles. There's a reason there's something called a "loose ball foul"
Lol my guy, no one is upset with him. I just thought it was hilarious that the announcers didn't think that was a foul. He played great!
Good win!
Is anyone still watching this? Friedel just took out a dude's legs diving for a loose ball and the announcers are incredulous that it's a foul on us lol. He's played great tonight, though. 4 years of...
Lol what an insane post. Augie?
GG to USD. Played better and made great plays. #6 is quite the player.
They're missing their RB too. Terrible excuse.
Lol so? Terrible excuse.
It was gonna happen eventually. Today had all the makings for it.
Playing exactly how you play when you lose to a lesser opponent
This is a small thing, but I really miss whoever was running the @gojacksmbb Twitter account the last couple years. Would update constantly throughout the game, giving practically a play by play....
I love the all whites on the road.
Agree with all of this. We're better, but playing down there scares me. Also, eventually they are going to beat us. I don't think it will be this year, but having a backup QB and back up back up RB...
How long until we're allowed to diagnose the weaknesses of this team? @Southeast let us know please.
Yuuuuuuuck.
I agree. Didn't get to see him play during the first game I watched, but after watching that first half, I'm excited for him to hopefully start getting more minutes.
Didn't get to see the 2nd half. Seems like it was a little closer than the final score shows. Still concerned about the shooting, but optimistic overall.
Really nice job to close the gap to 7 at half. Would have liked someone other than Wilson taking the 3 at the buzzer, but whatever. Some really ugly basketball, but some promising stretches!
Good post. Was trying to figure out where 20/game would put us, but couldn't find the right info. Thanks for the context.
Either I'm missing it, or this game isn't on any platform outside of SDSU's own?
Where was the panic after one game? I must have missed it.
