    Re: 2019 Recruits

Jacks were the only program to have three incoming recruits as place-winners.

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Schedule

On the men's side, the only thing that really matters is how well you play in Sioux Falls in March, as NDSU showed last season. As the old saying goes, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."...

Mike finished with 4 points and 1 rebound in 11 minutes. Portland's next game is Tuesday at 5:00 on ESPN2.

    Re: Mike Daum

Portland signing Anthony Tolliver yesterday doesn't help Mike's chances. Veteran big who specializes in shooting threes.

    Sticky: Re: 2020 Recruiting List

#2 ranked kicker in the country - nice to get someone who can be both the kicker and punter with one scholarship.

I see that OL Grey Zabel from Pierre who already had a football offer has also received a baseball offer from the Jacks. Does that mean he would play both sports ?

    Sticky: Re: 2020 Recruiting List

Are the Jacks looking for a second QB for this class, or was the second QB offer meant to "encourage" Gronowski to commit now ?

He replied to Beanum's commitment tweet with the word "Family" followed by a heart emoji, so hopefully that is a good sign.

Hopefully he is the edge pass rusher that the Jacks have been searching for.

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

If I understand Wingett's situation, Memphis has to officially acknowledge that they recruited over him and took away his scholarship so they could give it to a more talented player. Everyone...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

Thanks for the clarification. For me, it has always been a bit of a long shot that Wingett would get the waiver to be eligible right away. There will be a lot of new faces to sort out this season as...

Except you are not airing it out - you are tap dancing around the edges. All that about 98% (or more) of us here on this forum can do is try and guess who you are talking about.

Re: NDSU night at Target Field

Bert seems to do fewer games every season. Not sure if that is his choice, or if FSN is gradually phasing him out. I agree on Morneau - Roy Smalley also does a good job during the few games that he...

I count 19 seniors on the current roster. Not sure if they are all on full scholarship, but it looks like this class has about 20 spots to fill ?

Has anyone heard any buzz about Daum getting some pre-draft workouts ? Hard to find info on him since he went out west to work on his game.

It seems like Otz has been a burr underneath his saddle ever since the zone defense part of his first season with the Jacks.

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

I saw Fiegen with his parents in a dining establishment in Brookings a couple of months ago and was surprised at how thin he was. Even if he has put on 15 lbs. I don't think there is any chance he...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

FWIW on one of Otz's final radio shows, he said Dillon's best position is a stretch 4 type rather than a back to the basket post player.

    Re: Summit League Tournament 2019

Tulsa must have gotten a lot of rain. Heard on the news this morning that they may have to evacuate parts of the city if a levee fails.
