    Re: Jackrabbit Illustrated position previews

I think that for the past few years the defense has been an afterthought when it comes to Jackrabbit football. This is the year that the defense will be stars and allow an offense to find their...

Re: Jake Wieneke - Vikings Hopeful

I hope that having a couple local guys gives the CFL a bit more exposure. It isn't as polished as the NFL, but it is still pretty fun football to watch. I have been to a few Winnipeg games and had...

    Re: Mike Daum

My assumption was Mike took the Portland offer because it was the best option to showcase his skills to all the other teams

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

It is pretty amazing how similar Hendo's situation is compared to when TJ took over. Both teams lost talented senior classes that not only could score, but were also leaders of the team. Both teams...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

TJ, and his system, played a huge role in developing Daum into one of the best mid-major players. What TJ did to save his first season at SDSU is overlooked. To belittle his time here as a head coach...

    Re: Summit League Tournament 2019

Of all the reasons to get upset, the choice of covering the defending national champion isn't one of them.

Take a look at how much coverage SDSU gets overall compared to all the other sports...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

Version 2 is always the upgrade. Somebody didnt grow up a computer nerd and it really shows. Ha. I think it was more his overall build combined with the ability to shoot.

    Speaking of Jordan...was...

So he seems like a Jordan Dykstra Version 2 type player.

Or, you know, just rent one to "show off." Heck, in Vegas you can rent any type of car you want to drive.

    Re: Macy Miller Drafted!!

The problem with pro basketball, both women's and men's, is the small roster sizes. It hurt Megan when she was drafted too. I think that Macy could play as a forward in the right system, but I don't...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

My thought is that he was second guessing his commitment once the "big boys" started calling, but didn't have an out until TJ left.

Re: Summit Coaches MBB & WBB 2018-19

Personally, I would love to see her get the job. Let her get experience as a head coach for a good mid-major. The only way that I can see her returning to SDSU is if she takes over for AJ. And those...

If they had the bacon cheddar fries, that might convince Altman to move to Brookings and become an assistant. Nice bit of recruiting by DJJ

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

I think that if people actually went to these events (soccer/softball/baseball) they would see a number of great plays. Probably more per game than we see in basketball and maybe even football....

Tk's was a better play. Djj's was a more important play. Both were AWESOME plays.

    Re: Summit League BB transfers

I don't think that SDSU was really a fertile ground for bigger programs to poach until the last few years. Before Daum and DJJ there really wasnt that kind of legit talent. Marshall, Parks, and...

    Re: Summit MBB 2018-19 conference

Agree. We also have to remember that if we didnt lose our HC we wouldn't be having this conversation. In the current age that we are in when it comes to basketball, kids are committing to coaches...

Perhaps. To me it seems those relationships are more driven by social media. It isn't like these incoming guys have spent a ton of time together.

    Re: 2019-20 Women's Schedule

For as big of a step as the program took this year, next season is even more important. They have to use the run to cement themselves as a top 25 program.

It is up to the next group of ladies to...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

There really isn't anything drawing Grill back to his commitment. Jenkins on the other hand has 2 years worth of friendships and 2 years worth of community in Jackrabbit nation. That is why I think...
