    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

I'm more pumped than in Otz's first year. Think we'll be top three or four this year and real good for the next one.

    Re: UMKC IS back

Short drive for me. Swinney is better than rattling around in the auditorium even though it's low end for D2. Retro mascot. What's not to like?

    Re: Northern Sate MBB

Kudos to Sundance Wicks for taking himself out of the running. I'm cool to jumping after three years, but one year is unacceptable.

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

Certainly think that he did too much to protect his scorer the first year, but on balance he was a plus. I predict that USD and SDSU will be top tier Summit next year. That's good for the state and...

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

More transferring ahead. There's some good D2 transfers coming into the Summit. Get some, sit some, lose some. It's all ok. Like TV newscasters moving from market to market.

    Re: 2019-20 Men's Roster

BTW-- At the Memphis game I sat near a bunch of season ticket holders. it wasn't Daum that impressed 'em, it was Jenkins. "That guy can be a Grizzly"

    Re: Augie to the Summit?

Comparative Lutheran theology isn't central to basketball. Politics isn't central to basketball, unless it's Illinois higher education and it's WIU being strangled to death by Mike Madigan....

    Re: Augie to the Summit?

In both Dakotas? Where the Missouri Synod is there's schools. Don't think the ELCA believes in such things.

    Re: Augie to the Summit?

Thought I might have been stereotyping when I said that the ESD was slow and low scoring. Didn't put the numbers in a spreadsheet, but it looks on scanning that there is a fairly high portion of...

    Re: Augie to the Summit?

Looked at the all state list for Missouri preps big schools. From names or schools, I'd guess most of these kids are black. Probably most are headed for P5 schools. Maybe white men can't jump is...

Remember talking to Brad Soderberg during his stay at Lindenwood. He said that the biggest recruiting problem that he had at SDSU was getting African American kids to even visit Brookings. ...

I've been doing a bit of looking at Augie basketball since it looks like this might be a done deal, including videos of their national championship run. Good size, at least in that year, but they...

    Re: Summit League BB transfers

In honor of Tyler's working door to door, I'll tell a slightly athletics related salesman story from my pre-sophomore year, the summer of 1964.

    Re: Augie to the Summit?

I was shocked and depressed at ORU, I found the surroundings at Macomb bleak, I've rattled around in the Municipal Auditorium in KC (although Swinney wasn't bad, although very D2'ish), and had a...
