  • ESPN: The Dutch Destroyer & Carson Wentz

    Everyone should watch this:

Warning: It is brutally gut-wrenching. More commentary to come, but I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't viewed it.

I watched it live prior to the MNF game (not knowing what I was in for) with my elementary-aged son and this dad balled his eyes out. I'm also now a Carson Wentz fan for life. After watching this I hope you are too.

The family is coming to the bison game tomorrow with NDSU providing VIP treatment. Paper said Wentz is not likely coming with, which is probably a good thing. He should stay far away from Fargo/NDSU during the season.

Carson is a first in the fact that he took some of his first year earnings and started a foundation to help others with needs. Probably a tax plan strategy, but Carson is very sincere and that came out in the story. I too, am now a fan.

Barring a horrible injury...Carsen Wentz will be a multiple Super Bowl winner and a lock the HOF.
He is a good man and a winner...I have no doubt in my mind.

But I still hate the Bison!

They have to keep weapons around him. It will be interesting to see if his success helps other FCS QBs. With all the FBS guys that come in and just flop, and with a rookie salary cap, maybe the scouts will pay more attention.
