Fort Wayne at #15 and the Bison at #19. Jackrabbits are getting some votes.

Maybe its me but from on paper what's returning, NDSU seems the team to beat for sure. both IPFW and us have to many unknowns to know exactly how good they will be. NDSU has a solid core back. Seems like Dex should have graduated years ago too. He must be on the Seekamp plan.

For me, Fort Wayne is definitely the favorite. They lose Landis, but regain Mo Evans who was their leading scorer before losing eligibility mid-season last year. Plus they get two transfers from Purdue and Butler. And Konchar may be the best returning player not named Daum in the Summit.

Fort Wayne has set up an impressive schedule that includes Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois St., and Notre Dame. They also have a decent number of mid major teams on the schedule. The Mastodons will be ready for the conference schedule. http://www.gomastodons.com/schedule.aspx?path=mbball

FW gets the nod for me as well. NDSU has too many question marks for me at this point, chief among them is the status of AJ Jacobsen. Will he return to 2015 form? Last year he seemed to take a big step back and they need him. He injured his hand back in September and has been out since. That can't help.

The Mastodons move into #6 and the bison slipped to #24. UNI is just outside the top 25. UNI is tomorrow's foe for the Jackrabbit MBB. Kampe has the Oakland Griz moved to #12.
