Northwestern Senior Diedra Artz Is Class "B's" Miss Volleyball
The South Dakota Volleyball Coaches Association has selected Northwestern's Diedra Artz as Miss Volleyball for Class 'B' this year.
The 5-foot-8 Artz has played on three consecutive state championship teams for Northwestern. She was named a first team all-state player for the second straight season after receiving second team honors as a sophomore.
This season, Artz handed out 937 set assists and compiled 51 ace serves, 172 digs and 103 kills.
Next fall Artz will attend South Dakota State and play volleyball for the Jackrabbits.
The Miss Volleyball awards will be handed out during the South Dakota All-Star volleyball game July 26th in Aberdeen.
