I liked Guanaljuato when he got the chance mid-season. Attacked when on his feet, which seemed be be a weakness team-wide.

Jacks get a commit from the #1 ranked recruit in the state of Minnesota class of 2027. Two time state champ Jake Kos from Simley HS. Apparently not part of the Berge pipeline.

This is a Cody Caldwell pickup.

Seriously though, has there been a bigger disappointment of an SDSU wrestler since the Bono era that underperformed and looked as terrible as Berge did the last 2 years and what did his brother even do if he wasn’t even running the club? If Bennett and Brady wrestled each other in practice, then that would make sense why Bennett had zero horsepower this year

The guy regressed each year, what a waste of talent.

Ok States 184lb transferred to Iowa State so it makes me wonder if Berge is going back down to 184. Still have no idea whose idea it was to move him up to 197. Horrible decision whoever decided to do it

The move up likely wouldn't have happened if he wasn't on board with it. It's not like we had a stud waiting to slot in at 184 after Berge moved up.

On board with it? The decision to move up was 100% his from my understanding. Pretty sure everyone else thought he should stay where he was.
