It’s not too early for this thread, is it?! Very excited for next year’s team. I feel like this program is a freight train that keeps adding payload and keeps gaining momentum. In the very near future we will be a perennial top 10 program. Jump on or get off the tracks!

Hwt: Trenary/Rasmussen

If we look for transfers I would think Hwt would be the main target possibly with a 197 to compete with the young guys. Otherwise, I think Hahn will embrace the youth movement and roll with something similar to this. Obviously if Carlson and Sloan comeback they slot right back into their spots.

None of those 3 participated in senior day and there is no other reason to think they won’t be back. Hawkeyes poaching Sloan is my only concern.

I like Rasmussen at HWT. Especially after he now has a year of college experience under his belt. I never considered the possibility of Sloaner getting poached. Is that a realistic concern?

No I don’t think it’s realistic but it is getting talked about on the Hawkeye forums. Rasmussen still has a lot of weight to put on and McConville has some good wins under his belt already in limited experience.

AJ Ferrari’s little brother committed to Iowa today. He projects at 157. Rumors that AJ’s legal stuff is about to clear up and he will follow to Iowa City. On a positive note now Penn State has a real challenger and Iowa won’t try to steal Sloan, on the down side Sloan’s dream of becoming an NCAA champ just got a prominent hurdle.
