I have been reading several of your comments on the coming game, and have to agree with a lot of your observations. I have been a season ticket holder for eight seasons now, but have been a women's basketball fan for over 30. It is true from some of your comments that we do lay an egg from time to time. We seem to do pretty well to get to the sweet 16, but besides our two final four appearances, we have trouble getting over the hump.
I know some of you have stated that our girls might be looking past the Jack Rabbits. I don't think that is true. They don't mean to disrespect you guys, its just they are mainly familiar with the Big XII that they play in and some of the close regional teams and just don't know about teams outside their comfort zone. Coach Coale will have them ready. We know your team is exceptional at shooting beyond the arc. That may be our biggest achilles heel, because we are not the best at defending the line. We do a good job of pressure defense and trapping. We are good at blocking out and rebound very well. We also will match up well with the Jack Rabbits, since we like to get into transition quickly and move up the floor. This game could turn into a track meet if not careful. Since early January we have become an excellent free throw shooting team and led the Big XII conference.
Looks like this is going to be one of if not the best 3/14 match ups of the tournament. Hope to get to meet some of the fans from your fare state.
For those curious about our arena. We seat 12 thousand, and the last three home games we were around 10 to 11 thousand. Last year at the Ford Center downtown Oklahoma City we had 12 thousand plus for the elite 8 final against Purdue. We should pack em in for Sunday nights game.
Good luck to all, and if you have any questions I will be glad to answer.

Of course, two of those three could shoot the 3 pretty good, but they certainly didn't earn a living off it.

Thanks for the post. Here's my question: Can we move this game to a neutral site?

Re: Oklahoma!
The game is on ESPN2 in South Dakota. Last year it was too. I saw the whole first game. ESPN will show one game in Standard Def while showing the national game in HD.

Re: Oklahoma!
Two years in a row SDSU plays the same time slot as Iowa St. That means no SDSU for regional coverage. Saw very little of the SDSU games last year.
