Final score: Maryland 68 SDSU 56. Nice showing by the Jacks. Just couldn't get our shots to drop. Go get Illinois. Rotert hit 2-3's. Build on the positives.

They were quite a bit better than us the last 22 minutes of the game. They buckled down and stuck it to us. Once they got the lead the didn't let us get back within striking distance. Well coached team with a solid amount of talent. I don't know where they will be at the end of the year but they are a quite a bit better than us right now.

We could have shot better but they deserve a lot of credit for great defense. About where I thought we would finish. Good effort, nothing to hang our heads about. We just got beat by a better team ranked in the top 10.

Darn...as good as we played defensively the first half, still have to make shots.
Terrible shooting percentage.

The ladies can play with these teams, this game proved it!!

Go out and beat the Illini and Griz the next couple of days down there!!

...regardless of the defeat, this should be a confidence boost to our team and fans. Most already thought we belonged...now I think we know. Let's go get the next two and get back to the states! (...after some fun in the sun!)

Too bad. Thought it sounded like that was one the Jacks could have had. The team may need to find a different way to get the offense rolling away from Frost Arena. I know that the three-point shot is an enourmous part of the identity and firepower of this team, but especially early in road games maybe there are some other options on the court.

Is it just me or is this becoming a theme this year on the road?

I would think maybe a reason we shot so bad was the surrounding area. I mean were are playing in ball room. It might just be me, but I know I wouldn't shoot worth a crap if I played in a ball room.
