Honor Roll: S.D. to Vermont

The rollout of the HoopGurlz National Honor Roll, which commemorates achievement on the court (high-school and club basketball) and off (classroom and community), picks up with South Dakota through Vermont.

South Dakota State signee
A member of the Sioux Falls Argus Leader First Five and a first-team all-state selection, Rotert averaged 22.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game during her junior season. She was named to the all-tournament team at the 2006 Class A state tournament after making a record 14 three-pointers in three games. A four-time all-conference selection, Rotert holds McCook's single-game scoring record with 37 points. She also shared leading scorer status with Jill Young for the South Dakota Elite team that won the Miss Basketball Showcase in 2006. Rotert also has competed in state track and golf meets and is a member of the National Honor Society.
