Okay, cool. You don't want to argue about it. Have a nice day.

I am in total agreement with the points that you make here as well as the ideas that Farmer stated about the post game radio interview. i thought maybe somebody had something different, therefore I asked the question if somebody actually knew that there was a connection and if so was there some criteria.

based on you, Farmer, and myself all having the idea that there is zero connection and nobody offering any evidence to support a connection, it seems likely that no connection exists. i will not assume that is absolutely correct. i remain open to the possibility that I do not have ALL of the information, but it does seem likely to be the case.

It seems to me at some point all the girls have/will get their chance to talk. If memory serves me BM has had a couple dominating nights and she didn't come over and interview. I don't know, never really gave it much thought or care I guess.
i tell you and anyone else, my feathers are totally unruffled. obviously some will believe that and some will assume that i am full of schmidt, but I am sincere. letters on a computer screen do not carry emotions and it is always more wise not to assume emotions when there is no additional information- facial expression, body language, tone, or volume. I was puzzled by the words get real and I asked about it.

same thing about the POTG and the post game interview. I stated it very unemotionally and simply informed disco that I was never aware that the post game interview was connected to any type of imaginary award. actually, Farmer I have always had the same thought that you do- AJ or someone on staff, makes the choice for who will do the interview. I also think it could be Shelby Selland. she seems to be kind of the media connection on the staff. and I also agree COMPLETELY with your assertion- the person gets chosen because they did do something meaningful in the game but that could be literally anything. in this case, I would say the meaningful thing was the fact that Fox returned and the offense seemed much improved from recent games. it did not mean she was the best player. it meant she was a meaningful player and the coaches chose her to speak about the game

    so anyway- ZERO ruffled feathers

simply disco listed Fox and KV. i agreed both were good and added Brooklyn to the list.

secondly, I asked a question about the post game interview / POTG. i was never aware of any connection. thought someone might have heard that there was a connection or had information that i did not about criteria for being the post game interview

it wa a simple question! not sure why that caused anyone to assume I was upset?

i did not understand the addition of the phrase get real. i can understand the thought of maybe that causing ruffled feathers, but i was just asking why? what was the intention?

my apologies if i made you all uncomfortable!! just trying to participate in a conversation about who played well and asking some questions

I think it is safe to say nobody out there is working harder for points than Brooklyn. she is the unquestioned focal point of every defense and tonight like a lot of games she was the leading scorer with multiple defenders working to stop her on most of her baskets

ultimately, I think all 3 of KV, Fox, and Brooklyn were very good choices for the imaginary award of player of the game and in my personal view (my view so i realize everyone has their own view) none of the 3 would be a wrong choice

Brooklyn leading scorer and rebounder, tied for team lead with 2 blocks, also had a steal
KV was excellent, shot and scored very well, led team with 7 assists
Fox was tied with KV for #2 scorer, also had 5 boards- in my view Fox hit very very arguably the biggest shot of the game early in the 3Q when the Jacks had been ice cold. after her 3 ORU never made another challenge
ALL very good and valid choices

again I ask, are we sure the interviewee is chosen based on being the "player of the game?" i have doubts about that being accurate. as I pointed out, Hillary has been interviewed post game. honestly, I believe I have seen / heard Hillary do the interview more than once and she has had a few nice games but would have never been the key to any victory

she was having an unremarkable season from 3 so far- meaning definitely not great but also not terrible and only shooting about 2.5 threes per game
last year she had the 4th most 3s on the team and led the team in 3pt FG% it is pretty clear the ability was there
so again, she had a good game!! she had her best 3pt shooting game of the year! ALL TRUE

what does any of that have to do with what I said? I said the shots she hit were pretty open good looks. TRUE
Brooklyn still scored more points while being the huge focus of ORUs defense. TRUE

everything I said was true so what is there to get real about?

if having a game that is UNUSUAL is the key aspect of being player of the game then maybe Colbeck should be the player of the game? she made EVERY shot, EVERY 3 pt, EVERY FT, and had her highest scoring game of the year

maybe i am too thick in the head? valid. but I am not really sure what your point was? i agree with you and clearly stated it that Vasecka had a good game. it is not like you said she was the OBVIOUS player of the game. you said she had a case. I stated right out of the box, I had ZERO problem with that idea. i went on to offer evidence that Brooklyn also had a strong case. apparently by saying get real you are saying only a moron could imagine that Brooklyn was worthy of mention? if that is not what you meant please enlighten me

I did not realize the post game interview was supposed to be chosen by player of the game or something, not actually sure it is? I am pretty sure Hillary has had the post game interview before and she has not been the player of the game once this year

They need to schedule it during a doubleheader. Which they have a week from today.
