Missouri State played physical but Jacks able to hang on. Big win. When was the last time we beat 3 top-25 teams in one season and won a regular season road game against one on their court?

MSU already has 10 offensive rebounds to Jacks three, defensive 14 all

Nelson needs to get focused second half. She has not gotten any traction the first half. She needed that put back to go. 0-5 is not her normal. The Jackrabbit defense is doing a good job. They need to slow down the offensive boards for MSU. They gave up 10 in first half. Bears had 10 turnovers to match while Jackrabbits held to it to 6 TO.

Anytime Gartner is in the game Selland needs to take it to her! She isn't near quick enough to keep up with Myah.

Up 31-22 at the half. Selland and some key bench play carried us as Burckhard and Byom were out with foul trouble. Physical game. with rebounds and getting to the line being key.

Midway through the 2nd qtr - Jacks now up 22-14. 3’s not falling but finding ways to get it done down low. Nesheim with some great minutes off the bench. Encouraging to see.

Grear did not travel with the team today. Unsure if she is ill or injured. Irwin starts instead. Good start, up 11-7. Byom runs the floor so well and has already had some nice blocks.

This arena on John Q Hammons Parkway is up to 16 consecutive home wins for the Lady Bears. It would be a great day to get a road win in Springfield against a long team. There are 9 players in the rotation for MSU. They have beaten FGCU and Maryland(#11) in an early tourney in Florida. The lone loss was to Wake Forest in that tourney. They defeated Missouri in Columbia this week. The Lady Bears are taking care of rebounds this year. They are grabbing 47 to opponents 33. MSU turns the ball over about 17/game. Offensive rebounds are almost 16 to 8. Opponents are shooting 33% compared to MSU at 43%. The Jackrabbits will need to figure how to keep the shots falling and keep the Lady Bears off the O board. It could be another win against a ranked team today and break the ice on road wins. Go Jacks!!Tags: None
